My experience with Koala Parenting

Instead of letting her cry it out, I offer her the reassurance she needs, whether it’s a hug, a soothing lullaby, or simply sitting with her until she falls back asleep. This responsiveness helps her feel secure and valued, reinforcing our strong emotional connection.
2. Empathetic Communication: When Baby M has a tantrum or becomes upset, I practice empathetic communication. I acknowledge her feelings by saying something like, “I see that you’re feeling frustrated because you can’t have that toy right now.” By validating her emotions and providing a safe space for expression, I help her develop emotional intelligence and learn how to articulate her feelings.
3. Setting Boundaries with Understanding: While Koala Parenting is all about empathy and connection, it also involves setting boundaries. If Baby M engages in behavior that’s not safe or appropriate, I use gentle discipline techniques to guide her.
