Spring is such a fun season to do art with kids. Everything outside starts waking up again. Flowers start popping up, the days get brighter, and kids seem to suddenly have a lot more energy.
I’ve found that this time of year is perfect for pulling out simple art supplies and letting little kids get creative. Bonus points if you do these outside!

My kindergartener loves anything that involves paint, glue, or scissors, and spring gives us so many easy themes to work with. Flowers, butterflies, rainbows, bugs, and sunshine are all things kids this age already notice when they’re playing outside! I have a whole post on raising nature loving kids here.
