Happy October!
Here are some things I’m loving this week!
The Local Library
Baby M and I went to the library this week and sat on the colorful letter rug to do our reading instead of doing it at home. We picked out a bunch of board books for autumn. Just getting a change of scenery and out of the house for half and hour felt like a little adventure. Here’s a list of books for infants and toddlers that are centered around fall!
Mini Pumpkins
Trader Joe’s does it again! These 69 cent pumpkins and gourds are absolutely adorable. One of my favorite parts of autumn is picking out pumpkins for my home. I have a post on how to make your space warm and cozy for fall on a budget here!

Yoga with Kassandra
I started doing yoga over the summer and I’ve finally found a Youtube channel that I like (there are infinite choices). I feel like Kassandra is so gentle and straight forward. Yoga is the first form of exercise that doesn’t trigger my eating disorder. I love how it focuses breath work and meditation and blood flow rather than appearances. The 10 minute flows are super easy to fit into my day. This lady has a yoga routine for everything – bedtime, indigestion, energy – you name it, Kassandra’s got it.

O.
Love this list of favorites! After battling eating disorders for many years I feel the same way about yoga. Rather than trying to control my body, when I practice yoga it feels like I’m actually being nice to myself, almost like giving myself a hug. I’ll have to check out Kassandra’s channel. Thanks for the recommendation!
Wow I’m happy someone else can relate – that’s exactly what it feels like! It makes me feel like I’m doing something loving for myself and my body. Thank you for your comment, Rae!
